The cottage lies on a cliff beside the sea overlooking Clare Island, along the Wild Atlantic Way. Nearby enjoy world-class beaches, links golf courses, fishing, hiking Croagh Patrick or cycling. Watch surfers from the living room or get wet yourself.
The house has a garden with lush green grass and is surrounded by a traditional irish stone wall. The stone terrace in front of the house is facing south and garden furniture is provided to spend sunny days outside.
There is a spacious room that offers enough space for a dining area and a living area. Weather you are having a meal, relaxing at the fireplace or enjoying a book on the sofa. The bookshelf is full of great literature in English, so please feel free to read as much as you want during your stay.
The living room also offers a desk if you need to work on your computer. Through the fantastic big windows you can watch the surfers on the nearby surf break or watch the weather during windy and rainy periods in a bright and cosy space.
The spacious kitchen offers lots of storage space for food and a great view from the kitchen window, that will entertain you while washing up the dishes. There are two refrigerators, 4 hot plates, an oven, a grill, a microwave, a kettle, and a toaster to prepare your food.
The cottage has 3 bedrooms, two on the ground floor and one upstairs, with 2 single beds. The house can easily accommodate 6 persons. Beds can be pushed together to make double beds. Pillows, blankets, bedsheets and towels are provided. Upstairs room also has a couch convertible to an extra bed for the unexpected guest or just enjoy the views from above. Upstairs also offers a desk to work or read and free Wifi is available all through the house.
The bathroom, with a shower, a washbasin and a toilet, is located on the ground floor right next to the 2 bedrooms. Soap, towels and a hairdryer are provided.
Additionally there are 4 fishing roods and camping chairs, as well as a golf set and trolley available for you to use during your stay. Please let us know if you would like to rent surfboard during your stay.
